Month

The sign for "month" is made by pointing upward with your left index finger. The palm of the left hand should face right. The palm of the right hand should face back, (or down).  Trace the right index finger from the top to the bottom of the left index finger.

Repeat a couple times if you wish to sign "monthly," "every-month," or "rent."

Concepts week year

To show the months of the year ASL uses fignerspelled abbreviations of three letters except for months with five or fewer letters which are spelled out, and September which is done with four letters.

Here is the list of abbreviations to use when spelling months, notice that
September uses 4 letters: JAN, FEB, MARCH, APRIL, MAY, JUNE, JULY, AUG, SEPT,
OCT, NOV, DEC.

Signed English has signs for the months, but the abbreviated spellings are so quick most Deaf prefer to spell them.
