American Sign Language:  "hush"

The sign for hush depends on your meaning.  If you are trying to tell someone to be quiet, you can use the "SHHH" sign.




If you want to express that there was a "hush over the crowd" then instead of using the "shhh" sign what you mean is that the crowd became "quiet."
